Our Yoga
Grafton School of Yoga provides traditional hatha yoga teachings; incorporating asana, pranayama, mudra, bandha; paired with meditation, yoga nidra, & mantra practices to allow for an integrative experience of body mind awareness.
These traditional teachings are adaptable and inclusive forms of yoga, suitable for adults of any age, ability, or experience.
Practicing from these various branches of yoga supports an integral practice, both on and off the mat. By incorporating various traditional yoga systems to create a truly integrative practice of balance; physically, energetically, mentally, emotionally, allowing for the connection to spirit to emerge.
Each class is guided systematically through a series of movements & breathing techniques, into meditation or relaxation, to allow for the release of tensions through body mind, providing a safe space for healing to occur within the individual.
The practices are meditative in nature, aiding development of self awareness and contemplative states through guided self exploration whilst under the instruction of the teacher.
